The MCE Cambridge IGCSE™ Core and Extended Mathematics and MCE Cambridge IGCSE™ & O Level Additional Mathematics series have been developed to deliver the latest Cambridge IGCSE and IGCSE (9-1) Mathematics syllabuses (0580/0980) and Cambridge IGCSE and O Level Additional Mathematics syllabuses (0606/4037) for examination from 2025. While the series are fully aligned to the Cambridge syllabuses, the pedagogies and teaching practices follow those used in Singapore — one of the top performing countries in international assessments such as Trends in International Maths and Science Study (TIMSS) and Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Both series are anchored on the belief that all learners can learn and succeed in Maths regardless of their learning readiness. The series emphasise on developing learners’ conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, allowing them to eventually achieve mastery.
