The devil walks
Raised in secrecy as an invalid by his mother, Daniel finds himself suddenly removed from her care and taken in by the local doctors. His only reminder of his former life is a beautiful doll's house, an exact replica of his mother's childhood home. One day, hidden inside, Daniel finds a manikin that seems to possess strange and malicious powers. Then he meets his uncle Severn, and notices a striking resemblance.
