Harry Fields was born in germany, educated in Holland and became an America citizen in 1951. Trained as a chemical engineer, he is a past president of the Flavor Division of International Flavor and Fragrances Inc. and member of its Board of Directors. He was employed at IFF for forty-two years, and traveled extensively throughout the world. He is currently active in Fields Associates Ltd., a consulting service for international corporate clients. He was knighted in 1996 by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands as an Officer in the Orde van Oranje Nassau. He lives in the Westchster County, New York, with his wife Barbara, near his children and grandchildren.
