Liz has disappeared and the trail leads to Herp Haven, which is some kind of spa for reptiles. The class decides to lead a rescue mission, on which they learn about reptiles and how they need to move from place to place to be comfortable because they are cold-blooded. Ms. Frizzle turns some of the students into reptiles.
