Rosa Hernandez has always loved ice skating, but it wasn't exactly a popular sport in her hometown of Miami, Florida. So when her mom's job transfers them to Chicago, Rosa can't wait to take her skating to the next level. She promptly enrolls in classes, where she meets the sweet, non-competitive Meena Williams, and icy-cold star skater Jacqui Darcy. Rosa's coach thinks she's got what it takes to participate in the Skate Chicago contest, but can Rosa maintain her desire to win without losing her love of the sport?
