The research investigates on a microeconomics and macroeconomic scope to understand oft he effect of government intervention in East Jakarta. These include the investigation of the market structure of street vendors and also the existence of market failure. Furthermore, this research aims to discover government policy and macroeconomic aim that the government has achieved by intervening with the local economy.
