Despite various strategies to eradicate negative consequences of consumer culture and cultural imperialism on Indonesia's cultural traits, some might argue that both instead further improves Indonesia's well being as consumer culture and cultural imperialism shed light on government policies, access to education, living conditions, and injustices, which promotes pressure from foreign countries to promote national change. This has led to the author's research question.
