Using economic theory and data derived from primary and secondary sources this paper will attempt to investigate the research question: "To what extent have low cost carriers and full service airlines been effective, at using both price and non price competition to capture their respective markets, within the Jakarta to Singapore route?" Both low cost carriers and full service airlines are separated into different market segments, as both have notable differences in service and pricing.
