The aim of this Guide is to help students prepare for the Mathematics SL final examinations. The Guide has three separate sections: the first section covers all six Topics in the Mathematics SL syllabus. Each Topic begins with a summary of key facts and concepts followed by two sets of Skill Builder Questions. the second section comprises three Trial Examinations. Each Trial Examination contains two papers categorized as ‘no calculators’ and ‘calculators’. The format of these Papers is consistent with the Mathematics SL final examination. the third section provides fully worked solutions for all the Skill Builder Questions and Trial Examinations. Good examination techniques come from good examination preparation and practice.
