The Cambridge IGCSE Art and Design Coursework Training Handbook has been produced to allow both experience and new teachers to familiarize themselves with the assessment objectives and marking levels of Component 4 (the coursework option) of the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design (0400) syllabus.
The handbook is designed for use in training and standardization and/or by teachers seeking to become accredited coursework assessors in this qualification. It is a requirement that each Centre should register at least one accredited coursework assessor in order to ensure accuracy and consistency in their marking. The handbook is also useful to those teachers working in small departments, who may not have the benefit of exposure to a broader range of work.
