A collection of six interrelated stories encompassing nearly seventy years. Begins with the story of Kenny who is fourteen in the year 1935. His dad has just died and to keep the family together, Kenny must find work. The stories that follow are isolated, significant encounters or events in the lives of other members of his family, or his small Australian community.
