Once there were two farmers, William Winterbottom and Billy Benson, who lived opposite each other on two round hills. William Winterbottom owned an old, blue motor car called Tin Lizzie and Billy Benson owned an old, grey mare called Little Nell.
"Billy Benson is behind the times with that old grey mare and cart!' said William Winterbottom to himself one Saturday morning, as he prepared Tin Lizzie for a trip to town.
But Billy Benson and Little Nell set out to prove him wrong, and the race to town begins!
