It's not easy having a hippo as a pet. Simon is very excited when he finds a hippopotamus in his garden. But this is no normal hippo, this is a magic hippo. He shrinks when anyone says a word meaning 'tiny' and grows if the word meaning 'tini' and grows if the word 'hippopotamus' is said. And when that happens, Simon finds out that hippos definitely don't make good pets.
